Labs puts the quantum solver next to the classical one and measures which wins on real operational problems. You formulate those problems and design the measurement, without believing either one.
The role
- Formulate operational problems as optimization and bring them into quantum form.
- Run and compare quantum algorithms against classical solvers, with honest measurement.
- Work with satellite imagery and signals from sensors and cameras.
- Write down what worked, what didn't and why.
Your first 90 days
- Day 30
You learn the Labs experiments and reproduce one.
- Day 60
You formulate a new client problem and run it both ways.
- Day 90
You present a measured comparison and a recommendation.

What we look for
Must have
- A physics degree, finished or nearly finished.
- You code in Python.
- You distrust pretty results until you have measured them.
- You explain something hard without hiding behind the formalism.
Nice to have
- Quantum computing, QUBO or QAOA.
- Image or signal processing.
- Combinatorial optimization.
What working here is like
What you build goes into products that operate real organizations. You work directly with the founders, with no layers between your code and production, under the same rule we give the intelligence: a person signs what is critical.
